Lego Party - Starwars versus Ninjago

I was contacted by a mother, who asked me to help her plan a party for her 6 year old, but had no idea, what was possible. After asking her to describe her child, it became clear, that Lego must be the theme. Her son thinks, plays and dreams Lego, and his favourite ones are Starwars and Ninjago.A theme was born. I got really excited, as this was a novel theme for me, challenging and fun..I started getting the home made invites ready, then starting crafting. Lego bean bags were sewn, balloon decorations (Stormtrouper and Ninjago eyes) Storm trouper bowling made out of water bottles, and many more games. Lego stones were used to make table decorations, mini legos used in lieu of confetti. The cake design was to have a modelled Lego Stormtrouper and a Ninjago facing each other off. The boys were taught how to make their own light sabers out of pool noodles and these were used in some of the games later on. The boys very quickly found the stormtrouper and Ninjago masks I made and used as part of the decorations, well, they were not only decoration for long, they were worn throughout the party
